You're going to need to define what you mean by "my brakes suck after..." Is your pedal "mushy"? Is the pedal firm but you're just not stopping? What?

Is the pedal mushy or is the pedal firm but the car just doesn't stop?

You've likely boiled your brake fluid and warped your rotors. Most likely due to prolonged and improper braking by "riding the brakes". If you're going downhill you should be engine braking and/or getting on the brakes hard and then getting right back off of them.

Change the brake pedals? No. The pedal itself almost certainly has nothing to do with what you're describing.

You need to do a brake fluid flush. I recommend Motul 600. It's worth the extra money. And if you're feeling a vibration under braking, you've either warped the rotors (doubtful, actually) or you have deposited brake pad material on the rotor. This happens when you get the brakes very hot and then you stand on the brakes while stopped. Either way, I'd change the rotors too.

The real answer here is, learn to down shift and not use your brakes when going down hill. Your car has a pretty good brake system. If you use it correctly, it will more than suffice for your needs.
