Anyone had a problem with there engine getting more noisy.

Mine was ok to start with, still drives & pulls ok, but it has got more noisy at low revs, most noticeble at low speed or pulling away at a junction. It has more of the diesel clatter. Only done 8k.

Been to the dealers with it and they are going to contact BMW GB to see they have any ideas etc

Sorry to suggest the obvious but have you checked the oil?

Try using a different brand of diesel.
