Yes I need a set soon, don't want to pay £98 at stealers. Should be able to get a decent make like Bosch or NGK from somewhere?
What about euro parts?

I expect they will be BMW branded plugs but probably made by Bosch.

I'll have an ask......

My contact "thinks" it is NGK and this excerpt from the NGK Website detailing their OE success seems to indicate a tie-up with BMW & NGK.

Quote:
NGKs BKR7EQUP was designed specifically for the BMW Mini and is also suitable for the 3.6 and 3.8 litre versions of the Porsche 911 and the 2.7 litre Porsche Boxster. The special features of this plug include the use of four ground electrodes with a semi-surface discharge design and a platinum centre electrode. The combination of these features result in a long service life and excellent anti cold fouling performance. A further feature is the cold heat range of this plug which is essential for use in high performance engines.
