56 plate sav nav problem

Was wondering if anyone can help

My brothers 56 plate 3 series sat nav cd has falled victim to busy little fingers.

Kids managed to get their mits on it and its scratched beyond recovery.

Any ideas if its possible to clone one from another one or is it a case of a big bill from the dealers for new disc

I've got 2009-1 nav cd with camera POIs, suitable for the E90 1st gen nav pro system.

As I've sold that car now, PM me if you're interested..

Worthless pile of sh!te anyway that system

. Drives me mad. Can never find a thing on it (OK, slight exaggeration, but not by much!!). Couldn't find Buxton Opera House yesterday when taking the little one to see the Tweenies. Had to go online on my mobile, find the address, and manually input it. I can honestly say I'll only find about a third of any location I'm looking for (yes, I do know what I'm doing before someone says

) Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

There, rant over, needed to vent, good look locating the CD though

Why don't you just enter the address of the Buxton Opera House?

Presumed I'd find it under 'entertainment' and 'theatre'. Found Manchester & Blackpool's Opera Houses on a 50mile search but no Buxton. I kind of knew where it was but forgot to check the address before leaving home.

There isn't a generic search function which is criminal. You know, type 'Buxton Opera House' in and it finds it no matter what category it's in. Some hotels for example are under the 'golf course' category and not 'hotel', but if you've never been there, you might not know it's got a golf course and never find it. Or just search 'opera' within 20 miles or something without having to exhaust all the category options it 'could' be under.

Just drives me mental. Anyway, why's my signature vanished...

Actually, does any one know if the 2009-2 disc with speed cams is out yet?
