Powerchip group buy interest in Houston?

All, I have spoken with Mike Benvo and J.J. with Powerchip Tuning about having them send their tuning kit/software to Houston so that we can tune our M3's locally in Houston without mailing off our ECUs. I haven't discussed pricing yet, but would like to see replies on who is interested in getting in on this possible group buy. Thanks.

As I responded in the other thread, I would definitely be in for this.

If this was a custom tune (individual cars on the dyno) then I'd be willing to drive down to H-town (weekend trip?) but if it's just a generic tune (reflash thru OBD2) then iono. I'm gonna need a tune as well as a CEL bypass next month.

I am interested as well. How about we all get a Powerchip tune then go make the exhaust collaboration video after? Just kidding.

How much is the Powerchip tune normally?

Frank, the standard Powerchip tune is normally $990 and a custom tune is normally $500 extra. However, Mike said he would work with us on those prices. The amount of the discount will depend on the number of people who want to do this. If we get fewer than 8 people, PC will mail out a flash kit and can remotely tune the car on a dyno at a shop like Vivid Racing Texas. If we have get "a good amount more than that," PC will send someone out to tune the cars in person on the dyno for the cost of the basic flash ($990).
