I went with winco 20% all around... the air blue is made by llumar... it's completely clear but it also helps with heat reduction. The cost of the winco all around was $350 and the front windshield was $120, but that's because we brought in 5 cars that day. I think it's normally $180.

I got mine done at Tint Master City on Canoga, close to the mall off topanga.
They do an awesome job and have great prices, I did 20% all around with 3m film - the color is perfect and keeps the heat out to much its amazing.

How much did you pay?

Is 3m film ceramic?
By all around do you also mean the windshield too?

A lot of our shop cars along with all the cars from Crevier BMW have been going to DP Tint, located in Santa Ana. They do great work!

If you're looking for ceramic in the LA Area, give Song's Tint Masters a call.
(323) 732-3760
I believe they're near the corner of Arlington and Washington.

The ceramic they use is Huper Optik and I've had this tint on my past several cars.
The ceramic tends to be a little thicker than normal films and hence can be harder to work with.

They did a great job w/ the ceramic install on my e92. The beauty of ceramic is not having to go too dark, yet still get excellent heat rejection. You can ask them for a demo there.

Ask for Han and tell him Steve with the white 335 coupe sent you!

That's the price I've been quoted for nano-ceramic

but no matter how good it might be or the quality etc I can't justify $500 for tint....
I'm sure it's amazing.... But with $500..... That's about a month's car payment lol

Call Sal with Perfect Window Tint in Costa Mesa/Santa Ana. He uses Huper Optik and is way under $500 as I recall. His work is perfect and he is also an extremely nice guy to deal with. He did my current car and he wasn't pleased with the dot matrix so re-did it.
