320I SE ABS Pump Failure
I'm new to this so forgive me if I just get straight to the point .Ive a 2005/55 320i Se Petrol saloon with the ABS pump failure issue.
Its been diagnosed as '5e20 hydroulic unit pressure sensor internal' by a specialist. My question is this: If I can't get a goodwill payment from BMW (fingers crossed) I'd look at fitting a used unit as the one currently installed is not repairable. The pump I've been offered is from a 2009 320i saloon. The big question is will it fit?? The part number of my old unit is 3451 6772213.01 and the replacement one is 3451 6787836.01 a big thankyou in advance! |

There are a couple of different types so not sure if that one will be the correct one for your car, and TBH for such an important part I would be buying it new from BMW.
The car will need coding from BMW anyways once its fitted. |

I very very much doubt a 2009MY part would fit a 2005MY vehicle.
Never worth the risk.......it's the brakes.
