You can come only if you can bring both the IS-F and the C63 out

For some reason none of my friends want to drive my F at all. I'll try my best to find someone...unless I have a volunteer!

I assume from your user name that you live in Mililani which is where I live too. I'll drive one!

You guys are funny. I'm sure you'll enjoy your M3's much more since it is primarily a BMW meet.

Nice cars are always fun no matter if its BMW, Mercedes or Lexus. Actually, the IS-F and C63 are two cars I considered before buying the M. Unfortunately Mercedes didn't have any C63s at the time and said I would have to order one to test drive it. I would still have the option to pull out with no penalty but I would have to wait about 3-6 months for the car to get here. Bummer on that one. Lexus pretty much told me to go fvck myself when I asked about the IS-F. They told me absolutely no tests drives until I bought the car. They actually wouldn't even talk to me about the car and said they need to run my credit to make sure the car is "right for me" before getting into any details about it. I guess a lot of people have money to burn but I sure am not one who would plop down $60k for a car without driving it and they can take their credit check and shove it up you know where

So if you think about it, I ended up with an M3 by default

Wow, if I had that kind of experience at Lexus, I would be pretty pissed too. I initially picked a salesman via email and then stopped in. I was literally on a test drive with the F within ten minutes. After about a day and a half of negotiating, I got about $4200 off MSRP and took the car home.

I had an even better experience at MB. They had two cars in stock. I test drove and decided I wanted it. They gave me an awesome deal (over $10K) and I took the car home about a week later. I guess I've been lucky and had the right place at the right time deal.

My experience at BMW of Honolulu was by far the worst one. I've been a BMW customer for years and had a good relationship with the previous sales manager, Kevin K. When Kevin left, I felt that the new manager was much more difficult to work with. I actually ended up buying a 550i from the mainland and shipping it here. Fast forward a few years. I was looking at an '08 E90 M3. Mainland dealerships were giving the cars away. My "final" great deal was 2k under msrp. Guess they didn't want my business!

Perhaps if I had Ricky's salesman, I'd be in an M3 right now!

The salespeople at MB were very nice. It's just unfortunate that they didn't have a car. I was looking at it not long after it was released so maybe that was the reason. I bought my M before the economy hit the crapper so I got the same $2k under MSRP deal on my car. Prices were high in the mainland too at the time so it wasn't worth even attempting to look at that.

I was thinking about going to the NEX. I don't really know anyone there so it may be awkward though.

shouldn't be, as long as you don't do donuts in the parking lot, like the guy in the IS-F commercial

It's funny that all the commercials for the cars that I own are either of them doing doughnuts or burning out. I want to see an M3 burnout commercial!

Ricky, you going to be at the NEX? Anyone else going?
