I think I prefer the regular GT 500 hood, otherwise very nice.

The hood looks terrible, but i guess its form over function when you're pushing 750hp.

Looks-wise GT500 >>> GT500SS

Performance wise, flip it.

The terrible looking 3/4 window scoops serve no function, so I wouldn't bet that the giant hood one does.

Either way, that's a crazy amount of power.

Doesn't look functional at all from the engine's point of view.

Thats what I was wondering... why is that model almost 400lbs heavier than the regular V8 Mustang... Usually performance versions of cars try to be lighter than the standard version.

I think it's a cool car with exception to the hood. somebody said the regular GT500 hood looks better and I agree.

It might be due to all the chrome, gold chains, and mullets weighing it down.

IMO there are a few current BMW's that are alot uglier than this.

It's character may not be for everyone, but at least it has some.

The mullet and gold chains comment was so enthralling.

Can't tell from these pics, but they may have needed some clearance for the blower. Definitely not a functional ram air either way.

The blue ones sic looking, but the black one, wow...That's the guy who checked the gold chain, chrome and mullet package. I forgot the gold tooth option, can't forget that one.
