If you're thinking of buying this CC, DONT DO IT! They leak everywhere.

That's what they claim. Has anyone had any experience with the new OCC since the whole leak debacle?

Riss had issues with the first version of their CC systems but they have updated the connectors to prevent leaking. This is no longer an issue.

where are the original cans leaking?
i have an original (first) riss CC and have run it for almost a year:
no oils seen in the sight glass tube - but i can see no leaks anywhere... so where the hell is the oil going that this can is supposed to catch ??

thanks

Going to put my RR can in this week and see what happens. I put my own clamps on all the hoses, but if the can itself leaks, I will be unhappy. Have to take the engine cover off anyway to change plugs, so I figured I might as well throw it on.

The leaking seemed to happen on only a few kits, if you have no leaking then you will be okay. Just keep an eye on it and contact us or Riss if you have trouble.

I have one of the newer ones (got it back in June of this year). I just took a peak last weekend to see if it showed any signs of oil in the sight tube, and I found that it's leaking out of the bottom sight tube end (where the tube and blue part come together). Not much, but it's still a leak. No leaks anywhere else though. Not sure how I should go about fixing that leak..Teflon tape? I can take a pic when I get home from work.

OP - I'll also take some measurements for you.

Edit:
Measurements:
Diameter ~ 75 mm
Height (base to base) ~ 120 mm
Height (bottom base to nozzle tip) ~ 160 mm

I added clamps to all locations where the hoses connect to guarantee a tight fit and I have had great luck thus far. I actually checked the intercooler recently, and there wasn't an ounce of oil. It is really working very well for me.

Mine is leaking all over the top... I'll be contacting Riss and see what they recommend.

I was hoping to just try to fix it myself, because I don't want to go through the hassel of shipping stuff back and forth. (A quick fix without taking anything apart)...BUT Perhaps I will be contacting Riss soon and hopefully they can send out a new one so I can switch it and then send the old back to them.

mine leaked out of the bottom of the site glass, so I took it apart and added teflon tape to these connections. I don't seem to have any leaking at the hose connections or anywhere else.
