30FE but only when running stock???

I was doing some testing with my JB3 and all was well but I switched to map0 which bypasses and goes to stock. When I run stock, I keep getting limp mode with code 30FE over and over. I guess this is an overboost code so a boost leak is out of the question?

I do have BMS DCIs, RR Downpipes and a Helic FMIC but I never had the problem before. Typically happens in the middle to upper end of 3rd gear at WOT or right after the 2nd to 3rd shift. Does this mean I can't take it to the dealer with the hardware but no JB3?

Could there be something wrong???

I was experiencing the same exact issue for about a month (CONSTANT 30FF codes). I couldn't believe that it'd be a boost leak, as I'd never had the FMIC or anything else that's part of the boost circuit apart; however, last week I decided to take out my Injen intake so that I could get a good look at things.

Upon inspection there was ZERO indication of any leaks, but I separated any joint on the driver side of the intercooler all the way to the throttle body and then reattached. As soon as I took the car out for the first spin around the block, I knew it was fixed. It's been about a week now and the car feels faster than it ever had in the past.

Good luck finding your issue. It took no longer than an hour and half to fix mine and wish I'd have done it MUCH sooner!

Right but 30FF is indicative of a boost leak whiel 30FE (the one that I am getting when running with the JB3 disabled) is an overboost code which if my reasoning is correct, means that I am pushing too much boost... Doesn't happen with the JB3 engaged though...

The factory boost control logic is not meant to deal with intakes, downpipes, and intercoolers. To run those parts you may just need to have the tune enabled.
