New member interested in 335 sedan

hello, I am a new member from Houston TX and I am obsessed with the new 335i sedan. I currently own a is300 (auto) and within the next year or so I will be looking to upgrade to a 335i sedan (6speed). I have a question for those who have bought a new 3-series, how much above or below invoice did you pay? I want to spend between 40-maybe 43k on this car. Some options that I have to have is full leather (had the leatherette on the is300 and dont really like it), and sports packages. Those are a must, but I would also like the comfort access and cold weather packages. As configured with all of the aformentioned options the price would be very close to 44k, how much do you think a dealer would come off of that? Thanks

Thanks for the reply...How much would I be able to get off in say 6-9 months? Also what are your feelings on the convenience package, necessary, or just cool feature? basically is it worth 500 bucks

My advice is always negotiate from the invoice up rather than the MSRP down. FYI, I paid invoice plus $1,000 on my 330i in July. (I have no idea what kind of deal you'll be able to get on the 335i.)

Ok, to be honest I dont really know the difference, I am new at buying new cars. I would guess that invoice is what the dealer paid for the car and the 1000 you paid basically goes to the dealer. Am I wrong here?

Don't even consider buying a car until you read through these forums. Read up on leasing, money factor, residuals, and the Rizzo method. Decide on whether leasing or buying makes more sense for you.

This forum will save you thousands if you take an afternoon to read through it.
