Question HELP!!! Phone buttons W/Sprt Pkg OR Assist w/BT?

If the car was ordered with the sport package and NAV (but no assist w/BT package) it will still come with the phone buttons on the steering wheel. What are those buttons gonna be used for? If this has been answered somewhere in the forums I apologies, I did a search and i couldn’t find an answer! I have until Monday to make changes to my order (add assist w/BT) and would really appreciate your inputs. All I want to know is if I can still pickup/end calls using the buttons on the steering wheel if the Assist package is not available!

Best regards,

All the wheels have the same buttons, even if you dont have a phone ( then some buttons just do nothing )

We dont have assist here and you can still answer calls if you have bluetooth

So as long as you have the basic bluetooth option you can use the steering wheel to answer calls

Exclamation

E90fleet, thanks for the input. I think that I am trying to find out if there are no BT oredered in the car, then is there a place to connect the phone to the car hard wired like in the case of the Ipod.

If you dont have any Bluetooth options in the car, then there is no way for the phone to be connected to the car.

A phone can only connect to the E90 via Bluetooth, so No Bluetooth = No Phone
