First Road Trip Impression of 325i
Took it from DC to Philadelphia (roundtrip). Since still in break-in period, I kept it under 100 (maybe 102 mph). As far as the power (or perceived lack of), what are you kidding me? Listen, you pass slower drivers, not slower cars. If you are out there trying to prove a point, you may be a danger to yourself and others. I was able to do pretty much what I wanted out there while keeping it at about 85 give or take. The beauty of it was the handling. I switched from a 2004 V-6 Accord, and the difference at 100 mph was no contest. My accord had much more power (240 hp, 212 lb ft tq), but around 90, began to feel "floaty". This thing is solid. I ran with a E46 M3 for a while, and it was a demonstration of respect and courtesy as we both weaved around slower drivers. He felt no need to flex 333 hp on me. I believe he just appreciated the brand. This is my two cents on this car's power. It is more than adequate for me.

I have had a 325i for the past 3 weeks, it gets better and better and better. I have the 6 speed, with more than enough speed, performance and interaction. Again, if I was driven by horsepower I'd drive and Infiniti, for the pure pleasure of driving, this car is it. The 330 would be even better for those who can afford. I hear the the 325 is so popular they can't keep up.

even if the accord is faster the bmws feel is tougher and better and the handling of the car and built quality is much better also

could the 2004 V6 accord take my 325.
Not sure, and don't care. Having owned both cars, the 325 feels unhappy under 80 mph. Once you are moving with alacrity, the BMW is stress free. I also owned a 99 V-6 accord coupe with eichbach springs, comptech exhaust, headers, and icebox, and it still did not feel as planted as the BMW once you break 80 mph. My position is this. Whether you drive M6, M5, M3, Z4, X3, X5, 325, 330, 525, 530, 545, 740, 750, Z8 (do they still make these), or a BMW Sport Bike, game recognizes game, and they all look familiar to me.
