ar catless downpipes
hey guys i have heard of heat issues with the catted version that you can feel the heat inside the cabin after long drives is this true? i want the catless ones anyway but i do not want this heat at all i do very long drives and wanna make sure i dont have this anybody experienced this at all?

no heat issues after driving 3 hours in the car with AR catted pipes

Just had mine put on. I noticed a very nice change right away. The car feels a lot more unrestricted. You notice the better responsiveness. You also hear the air sucking more, but also hear the wastegates a bit more too. As far as I can tell, that was the only thing I noticed so far. This weekend I am going on a 600 mile round trip and will report back. I have the catted AR DPs, and so far I only have positive review to give. No vibration or droning either.

The ceramic coating will keep the heat in although this should not be reason to do this as you do not feel any heat with the catless in my experience.
Generally the purpose of ceramic coating is that hotter air moves faster thus being less restrictive although in the 3 inch that is not really a limitation. Ceramic coating is relatively cheap in SA so next time my car stands I am going to have them coated and see the difference. I am a idiot for not doing it this time round.
