O2 Sims don't work on my car

I have an 09 135i with AR Catless downpipes. I've tried two BMS sims, and have tried the RR sims with and without additional resistors.

The Sims work for around 3 days, then I throw the following code: 2C31.

With the sims removed, I do not throw a 2C31 code, but will throw a 29F4 and 29F5 for no cats. For some reason the Sims cause this 2C31 code. I know of another owner having the same exact issue.

Any ideas or a recommended combination of resistors I should try (Shiv...help).

Thanks

i have an 08 and never haad any sims problems with my non cat dps...
actually it is kind of rare to hear about sims not working.

if the OP has an 09 car, i know some of the tunes may not run perfectly on the newer 335s but that is being fixd right now.

maybe the few sims problems reported (like you guys) are for 09 and 09.5 (the newest) 335s ??

I have a JB3. However, Shiv wrote the DIY O2 Sim so I was hoping for some recommendations. I built the O2 Sim and have the same issues running it along with a BMS sim, and RR sim, all result in this code returning in around 3 days.

Shouldn't make a difference but did you wire the sims in the stock harness or the JB3 harness?

Not exactly true.
We have seen at least 4 to 5 people reported getting codes with O2 sim set to 80% as instructed. And I'm one of them.
Still trying to lower the % and see which number will not throw codes.
Just updated to a new beta map last night and 80% is still working fine at this moment.

I made a little o2 sim tweak with last night's beta maps. Very small but might do the trick. Leave it at 80% unless a code pops up. If it does, then start lowering the value in small increments as suggested earlier.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever read. You don't even know what the issue is.

If you were talking about the pins you ought to be clear so you don't look like an idiot.

This is why I don't come to these forums, its full of dildos that get off fighting over their tunes.

Op: Have you contacted Terry? I had issues with my O2 sims originally as well due to my own error. Terry walked me through the setup and I caught my error. It may not be the sims at all but maybe something wrong with the dP install? Just thinking outloud.

Good luck man.

could you please send me the beta map? I'm keeping getting the same codes even if I dropped the % from 80 to 70 by 1% decreasement. I have been getting the same codes since I updated with the lastest DME version and the lastest map (9-9)... i'm not sure what cause this problem. Procede V3 RevII used to work PERFECTLY for me!! I love my v3 so much~

This is O/T but far more damage is done to the environment through mining the platinum, nickel and rhodium that goes in the cats than running a car without the cats in the first place.

So removing your cats is protesting in favour of the environment... Damn hippies

This might be a silly question, but are you sure you are tapping into the correct wires?

Shiv,

seems like more and more people are having the same issue here.
Do you think it's because of the new DME software?? I'm running 34.x.x
cocoturkey, is that what you're running as well??
