Custom Intake? Gold Wrap.

Where can I get these intake pipes? and who makes them?

Custom?

The gold foil wrap and seam welds are so nice.

Nothing custom there. That is the Ultimate Racing intake with heat wrap on it.

I've rocked the UR intake for over a year now. Most users don't get it because it's more difficult to install (but a true CAI). And I agree, that wrap is

To be honest I really don't think that wrapping is going to reduce heat at all and its a waste of time, money and looks horrid IMO....I have the intake and it works awesome, but when your standing idling for a while, give me some eggs and a pan and I guarantee the person with the heat wrap will be able to fry you some eggs...Looks so much better without the dressing IMO

That is my car and i have wrapped the IC pipes before the IC and have noticed a drop in intake temps. So i used the remaing wrap i had to wrap the UR pipe where i noticed it picks up a ton of heat. Will it make a huge diff? I have no idea but i will wrap the rest of it as well as the pipe from the outlet of the IC to the throttle body. It doesnt hurt. I dont like the look neither but if it can help, i will do it. My hood stays closed more time than its open anyhow.

I'd rock a gold heat wrap for sure.
