....you could buy our new tool for $49.99
Check it out here: http://www.ardesign.info/catalog/ard...ool-p-219.html Features:
Nice little tool for DIY differential installs at home, without the ridiculously expensive BMW tool.

Hey man, that's a brilliant idea!
That BMW tool is ridiculous.

I believe their tool is a little different, but this certainly gets the job done just as well, and for much less money. It is quite a bit larger than the pic might give the impression of being - its 14in long.....

It's an easy job so long as : bearing races come out without a fight.
I had a junk-yard diff rebuilt. The traces were ON THERE. It had to send it off to PA to be machined off. -scheherazade |

Also, if you are on jackstands, the HF wrench is WAY too long....

When I had my Quaife installed at Metric Mechanics they made a 52mm wrench like that on the spot. Pretty cool to have a shop with the tools to be able to make just about anything.

How many millimeters is that bolt? I have a tool that I might be able to grind down? Just doesn't fit currently and don't wanna waste a tool grinding down the wrong size.
