had a boy racer moment
Havn't had car long, last night went for a run and had a chance to open it up , was surprised at the willingness after 4000 RPM onwards to rev up to redline.
Noticed the car felt more responsive to the throttle with the DSC button held in to turn it all off or on whatever you call it.... Anyways came up to some traffic lights and some guy and his girl next to me in a Clio 192? Sport ? Twin tailpipes out of the middle of the back-you know the one I mean.... Well it was quiet and nobody about etc. Long story short...., he got wheelspin, I got grip...left it for dust.... Sorry could not help it, very immature I know. |

Normal mate thats all. Great fun and its great having a quick/classy car.
Although yours has 218HP right? I would have thought the clio would have nailed you!? You mean current model 197HP?

I kinda noticed this as well....when pressing the dtc or dsc off....I though there would be loads of wheel spin etc....but actually the car is faster!!!...

Yes to be honest I thought it was going to be a bit closer, but it must have been my good start that got him....mind you it was close, about a car length

Raced a 320d M sport over a mile or so on motorway yesterday in the fast lane, him in the middle. It had the lead for a bit, since he was in front of me to begin with, he pinned it as soon as he saw me coming...reeled him in, stalemate for a second or so then the petrol won as I just kept revving
Don't fack with these though |

As long as its safe... theres nothing wrong with having a bit of fun!!! (No matter how old you are!!!)
I have a set of roundabouts near me which open onto a national speed limit. Everytime I use them I cant help but put the car into DS mode and have a bit of a play. Childish.... but makes me smile everytime!!!! |
