Happened to me twice after a downpipe back exhaust was installed. Never happened again after. I think the computer gets suprised by the better flow in the first couple times you get on it. I would clear the codes, and they shouldn't come back unless it is something more serious.

Take the car out tomorrow and see if you can get it to do it again. It happened twice to me on the ride home from the exhaust shop. First time I tried to get on the highway about 1 mile from the shop. I got it to do it again on that same trip by going WOT on a side road. I went in the house, eat some lunch, called the shop because I thought something was wrong. Got in the car after lunch and I could never get it to happen again. That was probably almost 2 years ago.

You know I have heard the same type of noise with my car but with stock exhaust. I have thrown a misfire code a couple days ago, and it may be the reason. Could have to do with the plugs or injectors I was told. The 2AAF is something a lot people have pop up with a tune.

The first time the code came on was a cold start the morning after I installed the exhaust. My car also misfired for maybe 20 seconds and then cleared up. When the light came on the only code I had was 2c7e.I cleared it and then the next time I drove it , the code came back on. this happened 2 more times and then I decided to reinstall my stock exhaust and I haven't had a problem since. Weird! Looks like I will have to go with just an axle back system.
