Their performance summer tires were the best on the market at one point. I think their winters are good too and good bang for the buck. I've been using the older snow proxes s950 for about 4 years and I'd still use them but they won't fit my car now. The HT garits were really good and popular too as a cheaper alternative. Pirellis, Bridgestone and Goodyear/Dunlops make good tires but you will pay a little more for their marketing, but I think toyo is still a good brand and I don't think you can go wrong with them. you should double check if 16s can fit over your brakes. Do you have sport pack? |

Picked up Gislaved Northfrost 5s and replica rims from Simply Tires. Great shop and good pricing. They are opened 6 days a week and closed on Mondays.

I love my Hakkapeliitta R snow tires. I drive up snow covered hills in my 335i without any problems, around the stuck city buses. A bit expensive, but worth it.
Consumer reports rated the Toyo Observe in the bottom third - good for extreme weather, if dry andling and noise don't concern you. Michelin's new Xice Xi2 got first, General's Artimax #2, Nokian #3. Blizzak #7. |
