Columbia social - Dec 09 thru Feb 10

I have struck a deal to host our Columbia social at Looney's Pub. There's no way we'll be anywhere near Columbia Mall during the holidays, so this will be a our new winter location. While its slightly south of Columbia, its still in Howard county and very accessible for those in Baltimore, DC, MD, and NoVa (Rt 216 & Rt 29)

I have reserved a semi-private room that will hold all of us and they can handle however many people show up (a huge problem for many other locations). Our section is located next to one of the bars and the atmosphere is great. Check out their website below for pictures, menu, events, etc.

They have a huge, lighted lot right across the street that will fit our needs very well. The food and drinks are great too!!!

It's a hike for most of the members to come up to Harford county, just like it's a hike for us to go to Columbia. Any news on next "meeting" date from "SteveMD"?

haha thats true. honestly, no matter where i pick, people will always comment that its not in their backyard/convenient/etc.

what i do find funny is that as car enthusiasts....many don't want to drive unless its close!!!!

what really matters is we have a place where the atmosphere is fun, food is good, parking is excellent, and the comraderie is top-notch

I'm a new member out of Baltimore and would be interested in attending. I look forward to meeting everyone. I have spent some time on here and it seems to be a great resource for bimmer (e90) enthusiasts.

I'm with ya. I also belong to the BMW Bikers of Metropolitan Washington (BMW) squared. We have monthly rides-to-eat in Maryland and NoVa. I prefer if I have a long ride to and from dinner. Sheesh, about 4 years ago, I rode from Carroll County to Front Royal. The entire ride home (close to 100 miles IIRC) was in a downpour.

Good raingear kept me dry. It was kind of fun.

I love riding in the rain. Of course my R6 doesn't do so well in heavy rains.
