EastBay BMW in Pleasanton
Anyone have any comments on this dealership? I am picking up my car from there in a few weeks and i've heard mixed reviews.

Loaner Cars?
Sounds good. Do they have loaners?

I just picked up my CPO '06 330i today from East Bay. I had a great experience with my salesman, Jessie Antonio-a very nice guy, helpful. I had detail work and installations to be done on the vehicle which I thought may take a couple weeks to get done/scheduled, but he made sure it was done (and was done) before I picked it up tonight. I have yet to use their service department. Yes, they have several BMW loaners that I saw on their lot. They also have an Avis Rent a car, and from what I was told, also give Avis cars for loaners. They told me if you were really picky about getting a BMW loaner (usually 3 series or X3), you need to let them know that's what you want.

oh good. Im just worried that since i didnt buy my car there they wont be as nice or give me a loaner. I ordered my car from a dealer on the East Coast but its being shipped to East Bay BMW. Not sure how happy they are about that.

Yes, East Bay BMW does have good service. However, I stopped going there about 2 years ago. The last service they provided was brakes and rotors for my '99 328i, and charged me just over $1,000 out the door. Their policy was to replace the rotors along with the pads, whether the rotors needed replacing or not. The price was waaaayy too high. I found an independent service in-route to my business address that charged me, I can't recall exactly right now without looking into my service files (which I do have), but it was something like $500-$600. But my experience with East Bay was always very good (accepted a minor drop-in service one time, no appt), but their price, I found, was too high, incl cost of labor per hour. It may be in line with other dealers, but I don't have my cars serviced by dealers.
