Broken Gas Door latch
Hey folks,
Hoping someone can help find a location that sells the small button on the inside of the gas door cover. The one you push to open and close the door on the inside on the left. It seems to stay stuck in the open position, I removed it hoping to see if can fix it, but the internal housing is a little tough to open. The car is under warranty, but I don't have time to go to the dealer for something so minor that I can replace my self in 2 mins tomor. Tks |

Sometimes it's stuck open.
To unstick it, try pulling the thin green plastic line that is located on the inside wall of the right compartment in the trunk when you open the cover on the right side of the trunk that is covering the battery and right tail light housing.

Well I called my dealer and they told me they weren't quite sure what I was reffering to and I would have to bring it in to let the tech look at it. Plus it may not be covered under warranty.
Just brutal, it's a plastic button and the car is only a year old so it better be covered! |

i broke mine as well, the cause for mine was the Subs that i had in it the bass would push it out and eventually broke it, it was replaced under warranty, since then i removed the subs for now.
if i recall the part name was " buzzer " on the invoice. |
