how to get a raspy sound?

I love the sound of the e46 m3.
I`m searching for a setuo thats really close to it.
Thought of bmw performance exhaust + headers?

BMW Performance exhaust on my 130i sounds very similar to my previous E46 M3

I dont have a 128i but my 135i with performance exhaust is extra raspy especially when cold...

My car didnt want to stay running for some reason but heres a youtube video for you...

It only sounds raspy when it is cold. The rasp goes away with heat. It also goes away as the exhaust breaks in. However, it does turn into something beautiful.

I decided to pick up the ICarbon exhaust, the videos made it sound preatty damn incredible, but not raspy... which is what I personally like. My performacne exhaust doesnt seem to sound as good as when I got it, but it could all be all in y head.
