Modded 2010 GTI'S

I am in the process of getting rid of my 328 and have been thinking logically in my head and i think that the GTI will be my next car. Only thing is i cant seem to find many 2010's with any mods. Ive looked on various forums and haven't had any real luck so does anyone have any nice photos they'd like to share

They car is pretty new I bet mods are far and few between. Although most hardware mods will carry over from the previous car.

The car just came out a few weeks ago. I think it's doubtful you will find any heavily modded at this point.

Showing you what European tuners are doing is of little help because it appears the engines are different with the US getting the older Mk5 2.0TFSI engine.

Here's the latest from ABT on the Mk6 GTI. And here's from MTM

Hopefully it gives you possible ideas.

I would agree that the R20 would be a great alternative, but it will be expensive, in fact far more expensive than first thought. Given the choice I would chose this over either the GTI or S3 but time could be an issue if you are waiting for it's release in the US.

Just drove the 2010 GTI. God that care is so damn slow! The salesman was trying to show me how it had launch control. I just laughed, and for 30k!?!? Hell no

They can appear slow because there is no drama like torque steer but the figures can't lie. I'll run the wife manual GTI with the iphone sometime at one of the local tracks and see what kind of results it produces, I bet it will be better than you expect from something with only 210hp.
