What tires now??

Ok, I did a search, but couldn't find anything that answered my question good enough.

I know pretty much nothing about tires. Now that I have to replace my rft's and will NOT pay $1,300 for new rft's what tire should I get?

I have the standard 17 inch wheels that come with the 330i. I need to be able to drive the car in the snow occasionally (I did last winter w/ the rfts and had no problem), but would still like the car to handle decent.

Any thoughts?

Oh yeah, I don't want to pay an arm and a leg.

What about the Continental runflats? Those are quite a bit cheaper and at least on tirerack look like BMW recommends them as well.

I know BMWexecutive did a thread on his Michelin PS2s, but they are expensive.

Here's my thread on my Goodyear F1s.

They also are summer tires with poor snow traction.

I've a set of stock 17" Bridgestone RFT that come with my 330i for sale. It's on my car for about 5000km.
