Hi,

I've had my E90 2.0d for a while now and I've now fallen in love with the E92. I notice that the E92 3.0i (in Europe) has more power than the E90's 3.0i (272hp [E92]versus 258hp [E90]).

Has anyone driven the engine and how does it compare with the E90's?

I'm interested because in the past, with the power output of the E90's 3.0i being so close and the torque being so much less than the E90 3.0d I would have automatically ordered my E92 with the 3.0d engine.

But now there is this uprated 3.0i..so now I'm not so sure. I'd like to drive both, but my dealer has neither 3.0d or 3.0i E92 to show me. I've tried other dealers around the country... it seems they only have the 335i (which is out of my price league).

Any pointers?

Also, Anyone know what they changed on the E92 to get the 3.0i to produce 272hp and if the E90 3.0i will get the same change in time?
