IMO it is almost a must beacuse the car has a start botton so it is much easier just to pust the botton than to have to fumble with the key.

I can't believe it is not part of the lux pkg or just plain standard(probably on 07's). Without comfort access I'd rather just have a key. Just by the shape the key told you which end goes in. Now, I assume, you must look at the fob to figure out which way it goes, put it in and then push the button. Wasn't it just easier to put the key in and turn?

Now with CA, the start button makes sense, except for having to plug in the key to recharge it.

I chose to pass on comfort access.

1)It would have delayed production (USA)
2)Cost $500
3)Doesn't always work

Also, somebody already made this point (not sure if it was this forum or another), but I would take the keys out of my pocket while driving regardless (uncomfortable), and no better place to put them than in the ignition. I'd prefer to be able to just turn the key but...

With CA the key is not charged in the slot. It has a one-way battery that´ll last about two years. When it starts to get to the end of it´s usefull life, you get a warning by the check-control display and the have about a month to change the battery (easy)

I would get it since i hate the start button without it. It is just dumb to put a key in the dash and then hit the button. IMO it is a waste of time. I would get it.

I have CA, and I don't regret spending the extra cash on it... it's still just my 3rd week with the car, but I have no doubt that my positive views on CA will not change.

I also think that the Start Button makes more sense with CA.

Actually, my wife complains that my pants are too baggy. I've just always emptied my pockets before I sit down.

I agree that the start/stop button is pointless w/out comfort access, but I'll live with it.

The dealer put it to me but in my list of priorities, it was not on the radar and although it may be a nice system for those who have it (with the possible exception of Broken1 who unfortunately has a short term issue with CA) I am not at all sorry that I didnt order it.

I can handle putting the remote in the slot and pushing the button. At least I know where my remote is I suppose.

I just have to mention, my CA problem is starting to look like my fault! I dropped the battery to my remote - so I think it's giving an inconsistant voltage; The second key seems to work fine...but I'm still testing!

I will keep updating on my issue in this thread - http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3155

I definately think comfort access is worth it. It's just a pleasure to walk up to your car and just jump in, clutch start button and I'm ready to go! The other day I was carrying my shopping bag and talking on my cellphone when I got to my boot. I didn't have to put one down to find my key...I just used a full hand to touch the button and lift the boot (You can't stick a packet into your pocket to find they key) and vualla(SP?) I put the bag in the boot, jumped in my car - tapped start and continued my phone conversation on the bluetooth! Magic...

Even with the problems I have been having, with the car not always locking and me having to try 2 or 3 times it's worth it...but again last night with my second key...it seemed to work fine! Just going to make sure before I give final word it's fixed!
