How exactly does this work NB? Was always curious about these things!...does it disperse the IR beam or what?...Bit more advanced than the old cd in the rear view mirror

Always fancied one of these, though worried if the Rozzers would get curious and start examining the car (sometimes they have speed traps with bikes set up for the chase).

What have your experiences been with it?

One tip seems to work is if you sight the van just as you come into it's view, moving from left to right (if safety permits) makes it harder for laser to be targeted at the license plate.

Never actually got it installed as I had to sell the car.
Had it all planned after research for a covert E90 fit - PM me if you want details
