Been offered a great Z4

I need to make my mind up on a Z4 that has been offered to me - private sale and the car has not been widely advertised:

2003 (03) Z4 3.0 SE
Sapphire black with dream red leather
18" 108 5 spoke alloys - in need of refurb but good Bridgestone RFTs

Professional Navigation
Bluetooth
Xenons
Grad Tint screen
heated seats
6CD
folding mirrors
wind deflector
Outdoor cover

37,000 miles, 2 owners, full BMW SH, BMW AUC warranty until Jan 2010 (extendable for £520), tax Jan 10 and MOT Jan 10 (MOT cover on the warranty)

Chap wants £10,500 but is open to offers. I haven't seen it in the flesh but it looks good from the pictures. What do you all think? price?

have a 3.0 si huge fun especialy with the remus exhaust handles like a kart loads of smiles per £ but feels like its going backwards compared to the 335d! the 108's tend to corrode quite quickly, sounds a decent car for the money

I like the Z4's.

My miswah wants one. Thats a very early one mate. If its a Gen car then go for it. Price seems alright.

Seems a much better option than the Merlot Red one mate. At 10K its a good buy with probably a year`s depreciation proof motoring (IMO)

Glasses top trade is £9.7k, so I'd say £10k was a good price.

37k miles for a nearly 7 year old car. About 5k a year. Could of course be genuine but check for accident damage/paint, or signs that it has done a lot more.

Some of the CLK55s I've seen look clocked to me - I did a search for "mileage correction" services on t'internet, and found the number of hits / sheer scale of the service providers and their expertise in adjusting whats seems like every model going very worrying indeed!

Sounds a great spec and bang on the money Peter!

Budget a few hundred to make the wheels tip-top and like others have said, enjoy a bit of depreciation free motoring

Any pics?

Thanks for that. It was an AUC car last January and still under warranty, seller is a genuine chap and I have absolutely no reason to doubt the provenance, although I would call the supplying dealer to check service history etc.

It is strong money for a 7.5 year old car, but there are not many that are cheaper than this one, particularly with the spec and miles.

The servicing would have to be all altered to match also.

Or they could double mileage clock
back then service.

It's not clocked.

I ran it through webuyanycar.com to see what it came out at, useful as a sanity price check - £8140. Seems a little on the low side.

They don't want cars with large petrol engines. Slow shifting stock.

Sounds like a great price! I would get those keys before they realise its so cheap!

Getting the 108s refurbed will be more expensive than normal but the money your saving on the car price more than makes up for that!

Post up some pics when you get it!
