Help the First Time Lessee
Need to help with my first lease. Looking at a 2007 335i with a purchase price of $45,000 even. I feel like I have negotiated a decent purchase price (MSRP of 36,800), but need to know if I am getting the best in the remainder of the deal.
BTW, does anyone know what the October money factor is? My issue is with the BMW 335i lease special of $529/month (36 months), $2,500 down, $550 security deposit, 10,000 miles/year, based on a car with an MSRP of $42,570. Is this better than calculating a lease based on the lowest available money factor? I have plugged in the numbers for a $45,000 car (2,500 difference: really more like half because of residual value), 0 down (2,500 difference), 15,000 miles (50-100 difference?), MF of .0020, and it does not seem to match up with the lease special. What should me lease payment be sans tax? MF? Residual? Thanks in advance. |
