Enjoying my 10 335 coupe

I ordered my 335 coupe 10/5 and picked up this past wed. 11/11. I will post pics as soon as I get a sunny day and car wash. I owned a 02 e46 m3 and sold it about two years ago to get into a winter vehicle (rover sport). Well lets just say I missed the power and performence of a BMW and was thrilled by the 335 and it's TT engine. I have yet to really get on it past 5,000 rpm's but Im really surprised by the low end torque. I look forward to some engine mods to get more boost.

Awesome. Great choice in ext/int. color combo. I hope she is equipped with 6MT?!??!

Coming from an RS4, I think the low end torque on the 335 is only okay IMHO. But, I am impressed by how hard the 335 pulls on the freeways. The exhaust note from gears 1-3 was also better than I thought

Sweet! I also made that mistake several years back. Since then, only 6MT and never looked back.

I was speaking from stock. But I hear ya. The 335 has loads of potential. I have a friend who had a Vishnu chip in his 335...and wow, what a difference.

congrats Benny,

somewhat off-topic, I was thinking about picking up a Range Rover Sport as a 2nd vehicle, or perhaps trading in my 335i (2207 e92) . I would love to hear your thoughts, or anyone else, on your experiences with the Range Rover sport.

Thanks!

RR Sport

Thanks Fellas ........I had a 2006 and it treated me well. It was not the supercharged engine so it was a bit slow to pick up but handled better then your average suv. You would be bored pretty quick with a rover sport coming from a 335 but maybe your looking for that change.
