If youre asking on where to get your speedometer check against your new wheel/tire setup. Ive done it before at the Shell Gas Station on corner of Old Keene Mill Rd and Rolling Rd in Springfield.

They'll put your car on a dyno machine, chain the front wheel and will run your car 80-90 MPH, while they get both speedometer reading and machine reading every 10 mph.

They will sign and notorized this form, only certain DMV/court appointed ctrs can do this. Expect to pay about $75+ for this service.

Are you trying to fight a traffic speeding ticket?

GL... my lawyer wanted to see if we could use the argument, unfortunately
my speedometer was slower than my actual wheel speed.

If you' find that your speedomter is off by about 2 MPH, you may have a chance to prove the radar gun isnt calibrated.

I hope this information is what you needed... but if ur asking where to get it fix... dealership.

I am actually checking my civic since i got a ticket in that going 84/65. I found a place in fairfax called M&M collisions and they did it for $50. i was hoping the speedometer would be off by more, but at 84 actual speed, it reads 82mph, which is still a reckless.

Been there with the Jetta. My speedo was actually showing slower than I was going But hey, that's not always bad knews. My friends mom (hottie) went there and begged; Russian accent, that her speedo was off by like 12mph or so. Paid a little more than $50 if you know what I mean. I paid $40 when I got the Jetta done. They work fast. Good people
