2009-2010 keys dont have removable batter?

Hi guys I noticed that the key on the 2009 328i I am driving does not have the removable cap that my 2008 335i has to replace the battery. How can you replace the battery on this key if it dies since it does not get charged like the old BMW keys? thanks.

Cars that do not have Comfort Access do not have a replaceable battery. It gets charged by the port. If it does cease to work, you will need to get the key replaced.

Your 335 had Comfort Access your 328 does not. if the battery dies you have to replace the key.

Thanks, but how does it get charged? The key is completely sealed in plastic. It does not have any metal contacts. Thats weird.
