E92 body kit

Hey there,

Just picked up a 2007 E92, 323i. Was curious how much the M-package body kit is? Does the BMW dealership in HK do installs?

I am not sure about the original price, but BMW has special offers on from time to time, so it is best to check with them. When I picked up my E92 in May this year, there was a special going around HK$20000 plus extra for installation and colour coding (yes BMW does the installation), that included the side skirts, front and rear M-bumper.

A cheaper alternative is to go for the (non-M) front apron only (by the way, this is OEM), please refer to the attached photo. This is only around HK$3500 for the lip the last time i enquired (and a thousand or so for colour coding) and is attached onto the original bumper with self-adhesive tape.

As for myself, I spent my money on a new set of wheels as the original style 187 17's are not the best looking wheels around!

Ah interesting! $20,000 seems like a pretty good deal

I'm originally from Canada, so there's always a distrust with the dealership, sometimes you can get a better deal through an third party shop...

Hey superdx, I'm from Canada as well. I got my Mtech bodykit from BMW this year in April while they were doing the promotion of the bodykit. There are goods and bads about the dealership. It's kinda hard to find a bodyshop that does a perfect paint job in HK.

That's what kind keeps me worried - dealership *should* have the best paint color match but not always the case!

Guess I just need to call and ask

what i believe is that nobody has the 100% perfect paint match. You just hope and trust your bodyshop get it as close as possible. Anything above 90% match should be pretty good in hk i guess. I saw many nasty paint jobs in hk and u definitely want to avoid visiting those bodyshop

Hey guys,

I know a damn good paint garage (the lamborgini's agent in HK), but you just need to wait a bit longer to get the paint job done, and price is quite reasonable, if you want to know this shop, you can pm me ^ ^
