i love pac10 football--especially USC, but USC really sucks this year. with the best recruits in the pac10, look what they've accomplished: lost to oregon, lost to stanford, lost to washington. oh, and barkley sucks.

UCLA is a MAJOR hypocrite haha you guys did shit like this in the past and would have been doing it this year too if we didn't have our mascot on lockdown with guards in front of it. This year it was just that UCLA didn't have any guards cuz they were too busy going to the Beat USC rally.

Yeah, I was really surprised to see this. I mean, every year the risk is high for vandalism from either campus. Usually they cover up the Bruin pretty well with box/tarps, a good week before. I guess the guys in charge did a shitty job this year and someone was able to get around the coverings--along with no security around to protect it. That is what they get for being lazy.

Oh well. Its just another year of the rivalry. What are you gonna do? Its what keeps things going back and forth. Seems like things go in cycles--believe it or not, during my time @ UCLA (undergrad 1991-1996, med 1997-2001, faculty 2005-2009) tides have completely reversed. UCLA always stomped on USC early on, now USC keeps kicking the crap out of UCLA. I think its 9-9 during my time (Even though USC is the clear winner for the overall history). Eventually, I am sure it will turn again-- back and forth. Its just the way it is, since emotions get high every year.

USC played like crap. UCLA played like even more crap. USC bit them in the ass for not just letting the time run out. UCLA acted like a bunch of babies in the end.

Although USC sucked balls this year, you gotta give em some credit for still playing well in a rebuilding year. I smell a BCS Championship next season, and boy would I love it to be against Texas to redeem that BS '05 loss!

I happened to have my USC sweatshirt on Saturday morning when I went shopping. Some 60+ guy starts raving at me "It was YOU dirty guys that painted that poor bear" At first I thought he was off his meds because it was barely 8 a.m. and I hadn't seen the news yet. But he was cool once I got over the initial shock.

When USC kneels down and you call time out with under a minute, you are baiting the tiger, and you got bit. Pete had no intention to run up the score until baited.

With the near bench clearing brawl, it's still proven that you can take the punk out of the hood, but not the hood out of the punk. Even after refs were knocked to the ground, there were no flags???? I was ashamed for both side ;(
