M3 taken off boat in Sydney!!

Hi all

Here's an interesting one... My car was due in to Brisbane on the 30th but today I find out that my car has been taken off the boat in Sydney instead and now the boat isn't even docking in Brisbane.

I guess it will be finishing its journey by truck!! I guess it doesn't really make much of a difference apart from probably a few extra days of waiting. Only problem is I can't track it anymore which is going to send me insane.....

If it is any consolation (maybe not) BMW lost two of my cars on route. I am in Sydney, one turned up in Perth (335) and the other turned up in outer Melb (M3). You could not believe how embarrassed they were !

Hope you have better luck.

Did it take long to get to you after it landed in there?

The car was unloaded in Port Kembla on Sept 10 and I took delivery in Adelaide on Sept 26.

Hey mate, No major updates. What I've found out so far is that the ship that my car was on only had to off load 14 cars in brisbane so they must have decided the cost of going to brisbane for 14 cars wasn't worth it, so all 14 cars were taken off in Port Kembla. The cars will either be put on a truck and brought up here or they will be waiting for the next ship to come past which will be on Monday, arriving in Brisbane on Wednesday the 9th. I just hope that they can clear the car into the country in Port Kembla so that when it arrives in Brissy it doesn't have to stay there for up to two weeks. If it does stay in port of brisbane for that long I'm looking at a post christmas delivery!!!

Mate that is crap - sorry to hear that - do you have any info still available on the shipping website? Would make things interesting from that point of view...

Surely the dealership can arrange for a truck or something?
