This is a good movie, saw it last night. It's based on a HK movie called "The Infernal Affairs" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/

Man, this is the movie we all went to see a week or two ago, but as the story began we noticed there was some Asian guy and his elephant. We were waiting for Matt Damon or Mark Wahlberg to appear, but they never did.
I think the movie we accidentally saw was called "The Protector." |

Okay, so I watched Infernal Affairs I, but I'm still going to watch "The Departed" just to see Scorsese's remake of it. Supposedly, it incorporates all three IA movies.

Its an adaptation of Infernal Affairs. I'm a big fan of Scorsese but I think the Departed wasn't put together as well as Infernal Affairs. Somehow I didn't connect with the characters as I did in the HK flick. But the individual performances were great, especially Nicholson (of course), Mark Wahlberg and DiCaprio (he did a great job). And the 'cussin' was funny, especially with a bostonian accent

Wahlberg was awesome in this movie -
"Hi, who are you" "I'm the guy that did my job, you must be the other guy.."
