Na, need to be able to bluetooth them to a pc, what are the implications of jail breaking the phone ? or can I jail break it get the non apple app then relock it?

no you would have to jailbreak it which is a simple program and then you can undo the jailbreak

The simple answer is that apple fcuked up the bluetooth stack on the iPhone (Cripped it) to stop tethering without paying extra for it. Operators sort of forced them to do this however. To get around it, just erm, plug a cable in.
If its phone to PC then surely just using the cable is the easiest option. Otherwise sure, jailbreak it as per the above..

What a piece of crap idea!! Sending photos from my phone (Nokia) to my laptop is almost a daily routine for me.

One easy way is to get a photobucket account, then use the Shozu app (free) to send photos direct from iphone to photobucket.
Alternatively, just email the photos direct to your PC! |

Just plug it into you pc/laptop and transfer the pics that way.
