Keys don't work......

Anyone else have this problem. I removed the metal key inserts from the key fobs last night. Both keys work in the door locks and the glovebox, but they don't work in the trunk lock. Am I missing something or did BMW not key my trunk right?

Had same problem with my keys the first day we bought the car. Dealer service said no problem, just needed to turn key further, and trunk should pop. Was too gingerly on the keys.

Just confirming UCe90 point. Same happened to me, just turn the key a little harder and it will open.

I tried starting the car without the key in the key fob....and it worked.....I wonder if my key fob along will start your E90 too? hahahaha!

Fill me in guys, I am an old timer , the order is going in the last week in August, ( I can't take Delivery till early Novenber.)

Maybe you can ed-you-me -cate - me. this Fob stuff which I never heard of.

I ordered a 330I

Don't the car come with a wireless remote to unlock the doors and to pop the trunk open ?

I think you will be able to start the car but cant open the trunk or the dash in front if you turn the switch from the inside. My dealer said that was designed for valet parking so they you can store your valuables in locked place

It's that key(below) with a laser key inserted inside of it. I hope that helps.....
