Good vid. I like Autocar. So there you go. Another vid proving the Nissan is no quicker than the 997 turBo.

I would have a GT-R deffo. Worried though aBout the failed gearBoxes ive heard failing on tuned examples. You would have to tune one... How could you not... 1k gets you 600HP.

Seems the GT-R's performace is more accessiBle than the others though for sure. Seems easier to drive quickly.

That is the advantage of the GT-R Driven fast it is a lot easier to handle than a Turbo On the same stretch of Track in my area I was able to take the Nissan upto higher speeds over my Porsche just because I felt more planted to the surface. You can see from the Vid that Sutcliffe is getting shaken all over the place when taking the Turbo round and I think the average Driver would ease off on the throttle (I know I would)

exactly... even when a very good driver / professional can get the 911 turbo in the same time range as the GTR, a "normal" driver will not. This is I would say the key strength of the GTR.

Like I said in my earlier post the GT-R sits on the Road at high speeds better whereas the Turbo (and C4S) seemed to bounce and lose some of the feedback to the Driver also when accelerating hard out of a bend you seem so much more relaxed with the GT-R whilst the Turbo scared the Sh*t out of you that you would almost throttle back. imo The average Driver could get a GT-R from A-B to quicker than they would a Turbo but a Professional Drivers in the Porsche would probably be able to get close to it.

Btw: Although I’ve had quite a few Fast Cars I don’t rate myself anymore than the Average Driver so I’m sure both Cars with the right driver in could get far more out of them than I ever could so may have a different perspective on them when taken closer to their limits. (like Autocar)

Steve - Nissan should get you doing some promo work. Nobody is more qualified to make such a statement
