SG Exteror/Interior Color

Just curious.

My wife ordered her new 330Xi with SG and Gray Leather/Burl Walnut trim. She is focusing on luxury look vs sport (though I will be driving it in sport mode

What are most people are getting interior color wise with SG and reasons why. Still may have an opportunity to change within the next two weeks.

Thanks

Greg

I'd say your wife has good taste. My E-90 is exactly those colors and for the same reason.

I value both the sporty and classy look which is exactly why I went with a BMW 330i. I'm a getting Grey with Burl also, but Mystic Blue on the outside. Hard to go wrong here.

I have a SG 330i with Beige/Poplar. I wanted the warmer look of the beige. I think my next choice would have been Terra. But the grey/walnut should look good too although it's a little too monochromatic for me. In the end, it's a matter of personal taste. Go with what you like.

Okay, color is a personal opinion obviously, but isn't beige in the e90 just as monochromatic as grey? Terra is two tone. Black has the grey headliner to break things up too.

I just received my 325/SG/Black leather on Friday and Love it! I hear wearing jeans discolor the gray quickly.

Lemon would have been my first choice, but unfortunately unavailable in the States.

Second choice was Terra, with burl walnut.

Third choice was black, with burl walnut. But I have black with wood trim now in my Passat and was looking for a change.

Besides the two-tone color schemes look c-l-a-s-s-y !!

I was referring to the SG outside being grey and the the grey interior being too monochromatic. I think the beige on the SG gives some relief to all the grey look.

I have only seen poplar and aluminum with black at my local dealers and I too thought it looked great. Anyone seen black with walnut?

Yes, I agree. I have mine in this combination too. I stick to black interior since my E46 but it can be hot when parked under hot sun. In Singapore, it is also easier to sell when you have black interior, especially together with black exterior. My E46 was in this combination and I have no problem in selling and can even fetch a higher price compared to other colour combination.
