Possible new 335i performance intake ?
Hi,
So Z4 sDrive35is has just been launched, featuring "increased air flow from the intake and increased boost" according to the press release. My question is, can we just use that intake from the new Z4 as a bolt-on replacement of the 335i intake ? EDIT: Doesn't seem different from the regular sDrive35i intake...maybe the internals are different ? Here is a picture of the sDrive35is engine bay. It seems the intake is significantly larger.

Damn thing is still in way of a direct strut brace. Ah well, M3 design is probably better anyway.

I suppose a Dinan-style CAI is the best we can hope for 335i
