Question Stupid question about toolbox

I got a stupid question about the toolbox kit in the trunk of the car. When looking down at the toolbox as you open the trunk lid, what "tool" is supposed to be in the upper left corner, above the wrench and to the left of the allen key??? I just realized I don't have anything in the spot! From the look of the impression, it looks like a wheel lock? Is it supposed to be gone or am I just missing mine? I know it's petty, but I'm just curious as to what I'm got scammed on. Anyone know???
