I'm a niners fan, but they won't be making the playoffs. They blew their chances when they got killed by Seattle. The Cardinals need to lose 2 games and we need to win all 3. We probably won't beat Philly, and even if we do, the Cardinals aren't going to lose to St. Louis or Detroit. It sucks, but next year we should be in.

big niners fan here as well. D is playing good as always. Smith almost ruined for us in the end, but defense stepped thru. smith is getting better tho. not sure if we're going to resign him. i think he has one more yr left after this yr?

if we win the last 3 games, we gotta shot at wildcard at least, especially the way the cowboys are playing (and they have the saints this week) and the giants.

I think smitty will be resigned, he's playing really well in his familiar spread offense. He has the potential to lead the team to the playoffs, the niners need to stop confusing him with a zillion offensive coordinators.
