2006 330xi: "September Production" ==> when?

Does anyone know what "September Production" actually means? September 1 ? September 15 ? September 30 ?

I want to know when I can expect to see my status in The Owners Circle shift from something other than "On Order"...

All german factories are supposed to be closed for holidays ( was confirmed to me by 2 indipendant BMW personell )

The factory here in Rosslyn is open, maybe we are making yours for you ( we have made UK cars before )

Unless one of the factories is only closing for half the month and yours is one of the last befre holidays.

What info do you have that your car is currently being produced ?

All I have is that my car is being produced week 32, and the dealer has confirmation that it has entered production, for delivery by 1st September. 1st September is when registrations change and is usually a popular time for buying cars in the UK.

My friend has also ordered a 325 and his car is due to be produced next week, for delivery by Sep 12th.

Interesting, Ive asked my one conact if he can check which factory has remained open other than South Africa

Do you have a VIN for your car ? Whats the 7th last letter ? It will tell us what factory your car is being built in

Week 32 was last week (Since week 9 was confirmed as 1 March )

Unfortunately, I don't have the VIN number from the dealer. I can ask him where it is being made. Mark

Sorry E90Fleet for the late response.
Just got my new car (and hence thew VIN), and found that it was built in Munich.
Hence, the Munich factory was open in August.

Yes, it seems all E90 factories stayed open ( they may have slowed production as some staff took holidays)

Factories like Dingolfing that makes the 5,6 and 7 Series closed because they had a number of changes to impliment for September . The E90 has very few changes ( non major) for september
