Where to bed-in brakes?

Anyone have suggestions as to a good, safe, location to properly bed-in new brake pads and rotors in the SoCal area?

I'm going with the "accelerated" bedding procedure recommended by the brake pad manufacturer (Cool Carbon). I'm going to need a pretty open strech of road to do it properly.
