Windows Vista RC2

I just recieved a copy of Microsoft Windoes Vista RC2 and have been playing around with it all night. Just curious if anyone else has had a chance to mess with this yet. So far things look pretty good with it, it actually looks very Mac like. I'm interested to see how sales are going to do with it, because i know for the average home user there isnt too much of a benefit to it just yet.

As an IT guy i know its going to be a huge change to the industry once this becomes more popular and clients start to want to use it more regularly.

I'm finding it to be interesting, but more or less or glorified windows XP so far. We'll see how things work out.

There are some awesome backgrounds if anyone is interested though. lol

I dont see how it will be much of a change in the IT industry. I mean as far as being a pro workstation OS, nothing has changed on the inside. Seems like most changes are cosmetic. File system is still the same (i think) and domain membership idea is still withheld. Most companies will not upgrade just yet solely because of the cost of licensing the product. I dont see Vista allowing corp users to be more productive, although MS will market it that way.

Aero glass is nice, but apart from the eye candy, it's no better than XP. The pricing sucks. it will be $300-400 for the upgrade version with media center. Ouch.
