I have 18's on my 330i sport for winter and they are fine, actually amazing vs the standard sports in cold weather
The wheels I have are the 5 series replica's http://www.tiretrends.com/wheel_info...&detailID=3685 Tires are Hankook W300 Ice Bears, which to me seem really nice. Drive nice, quiet, and very grippy in snow. My summer setup is 225's in front, 255's in rear, but for winter I just run 225/225 which helps traction a bit. |

I ordered a set of Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 from Tirerack for my staggered 18s. I thought about getting a dedicated set of winter rims/tires, but I already do that with my X5. I figure that the DC area doesn't get tons of snow and when we do, I'll drive the X.

19" is really pushing the limit. The cost of the 19" tires is approaching the cost of a complete set of 17" rims and tires that would have much better snow performance.
